BERTRAND FINCKLER, FOUNDER

My father was born in Romania and my mother in the former Bessarabia, a region that today is part of Ukraine. My parents were married in Venezuela, and I was born in Zurich, Switzerland. My childhood in the Swiss city of Lugano bears traces of all three major Swiss languages: my first name is French, my last name has German origins, and my native tongue is (what else?) Italian.

My background and training as a translator, conference interpreter and terminologist has prepared me to function at a high level of cultural sensitivity and self-cultivation. I expect no less from those who work for me.
